Printed Pages Autumn/Winter 2017
Printed Pages is a 240-page magazine that brings together the best from the creative world, providing a global survey of the most inspiring work and projects and the people who made them. Published by It’s Nice That, the biannual magazine is an essential overview of the last six months in the creative world.
On the cover is an illustration by Igor Bastidas, an up-and-coming artist who has created a story that kicks off the magazine and sets the tone for what’s to come. Inside you’ll find the work of photographers, illustrators, artists and graphic designers who cover topics ranging from Dolly Parton festivals in the US to the surreal adventures of a sex-mad naturist. We showcase the work of more than 30 different creatives and share the stories behind their great work.
Features include an exclusive interview with the artist David Shrigley about his love of football and his life’s work, a chat with graphic design legend Paula Scher, we introduce Gaika and Kibwe Tavares who are set to take the music and film world by storm, we discover how curator Paola Antonelli shook up the design world in her role at MoMa, we take a walk in the woods with illustrator Noma Bar and much, much more.
These interviews are complemented by original commissions by the likes of Martin Groch, Molly Matalon, Liam Hart, A. Savage, Loïc Movellan and Laura McCluskey among others.
